About me
I have 7 years of experience educating young children. I have 3 children of my own. One motivating factor for me to teach children is because they need love. I like to make them feel special and loved. I learn from children as much as they learn from me. They learn from us as we are their role model teaching them love, respect, and the way of life. We educate children to learn to be themselves and be children.
I was born in Dominican Republic. I am the first in my family to teach. I really wanted to enjoy my grandson and his growth and development. Being there for him has been a motivator for me to work with children. We cherish the memories of our children. I love being a role model for people to move forward. The family childcare teacher's responsibilities include feeding and grooming children, introducing children to new, age-appropriate hobbies, and sanitizing all toys and play areas. You should also be able to identify and address behavioral problems.
An assistant to a family childcare teacher has two main jobs: supporting the teacher in charge and supporting students in the classroom. As the job title implies, teacher assistants assist the lead teacher to ease their workload and help out with everyday classroom tasks, such as creating curriculum activities or taking attendance.
